School Rocks!!

I'm exhausted. School has been great! Though the difficulty of whatever I'm learning has increased, and it can be quite discouraging when 1 hour is spent on 1 chemistry or maths question, the experience so far has been great! =) I managed to pass the audition and got into NUS Choir =) Praise God for that because I thought I did quite badly for the audition. Since I have choir practices to add to my schedule, I will definitely be more busy from now on...

Mondays and Thursdays will end at 9.30pm for me as I have choir practice. Tuesdays will end at 9pm because of tuition. Wednesdays are my early days as I end at 10am!! But the time after 10am will be used to make up for lost time on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Hence, wednesday is christened "Complete tutorials and study" Day. I will end at 4pm on Fridays. By the time I reach home, It will be about 5 plus which means, rest then study. Saturdays and Sundays are taken up as I have Praislight practices and Sunday will be church/family day.

Cool huh? This is the very first time in my life where I'm packed 7 days a week. Haha... I'm still trying to pull through as I'm seriously very exhausted. But praise God for blessing me with the little spurts of energy here and there to keep me awake and mentally sound through the day. I just pray that I will have the mental strength and energy to pull through each week. If I make time for God, God will make time for me! If I feel drained and stressed, I seek comfort in the Lord as He never fails to help me, comfort me, and guide me through! Hallelujah!

Looking forward to Choir Day this saturday.. Will have to rush down to NUS after choir practice at Church.... woohoo!

Exhausted

I'm very very tired and exhausted now. But in a good way =) First week of school has been fabulous. My lecturers are very very zai and my lectures have been interesting so far. Though I'm still trying to catch what my inorganic chem lecturer is trying to say. Needs some deciphering to be done. But I think I will get used to this accent soon. I feel so blessed!! Through the week, there were times when the z monster threaten to creep into my mind but I managed to stay awake through lecture. Even better still, I managed to absorb what is taught in lecture! Woohoo! Thank God for that! The things I'm learning now are very very interesting! Though modern chem is abit physics, I am really thankful that I chose Physics in Life Science for special term. Because the more difficult physics concepts were already taught in that module. So I don't have much difficulty in understanding the physics stuff in modern chem. woohoo! Praise God for that eh! =) Maths lectures feel like JC maths lectures, Stats is fun to do, and geog is very very interesting! haha... Okay, maybe it's still the beginning and the tough part might come very very soon... But I think I will make it through with God's guidance. wahaha...

Anyway, the aftermath of all this awakeness in school is terrible. Whenever I reached home on my early days, I will just fall into deep sleep after lying dow on my sofa. I'm very very tired. haha... I'm beginning to feel this piao piao ran feeling which is not good! I hope I'll be able to have a good rest tomorrow morning before choir pract at church. I still have readings for Geog to do and I haven't finish reading the book required for ministry class! I'm so dead... haha... Well, I guess I'm off to rest now... Exhausted... Seriously..

By the way, lunch and movie with my army frens was great!! Very happy to be able to see Jon, Felicia, Chan and my dear dear understudy again! =))

This is our God

I'm actually very moved by Hillsong's new album, "This is our God". The songs actually give me a very very different feel. The feeling is indescribable and it just reminds me how great God is. Though I the lyrics didn't really register, the melody itself sort of exude this nice peaceful aura that makes me feel very happy and ready to praise and worship God with all my might! I guess this is the best album ever! I was, and still am, very touched by the song, "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus".

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of Earth will grow strangely dim
In th light of His glory and grace

It reminds us about what we should focus on. That all things on Earth are temporal and that life's like a mist. All we need is Jesus, for with Him, we have eternal life! There are greater thing which we should focus on eh! =)

Alright, for now, I'm quite stressed over my modules. I've secured 4 of the modules that i wanted but now, I need to bid for my elective module. So far, i've been outbidded for 2 modules!! So I hope I am able to get this one, Introduction to Psychology. Praying that God will bless me and guide me through this eh! =)
